Compatriots celebrate National Unity Day in Berlin

On June 27 2019 a forum of compatriots took place at the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Berlin with the participation of the Tajik scholars, students and artists living in Germany, representatives of the German Foreign Ministry and the Parliament on the occasion of the National Unity Day.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan in Germany, Sohibnazar Gairatsho, in his speech noted the historical and political importance of establishing peace and national unity in Tajikistan, stressed its role in the future political and economic development of the country, in particular in the peaceful life of the population.

It was noted that the tireless efforts of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - the Leader of the nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Emomali Rahmon in this regard are symbol of the unbending will of the leadership of the country and its peace-loving people in achieving unity.

The Ambassador urged compatriots living in the European Union to promote the realization of the ideas of national unity, as well as to participate and contribute to the sustainable development of their homeland.
The exhibition of Tajik artists in the building of the Embassy of Tajikistan and an open-air concert with the participation of the Tajik popular singer Afzalsho Shodiyev made the event on the occasion of the National Unity Day in Berlin unforgettable for compatriots.
