The Tajik delegation’s speech at the working session on fundamental freedoms at the OSCE Meeting

On September 17, 2019 in Warsaw, at the working session of the OSCE Meeting on the Review of Implementation of Human Dimension Obligations on Freedom of Expression, Freedom of the Media and Information, Head of the Department of Information, Press, Analysis and Foreign Policy Planning of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Vafo Niyatbekzoda made a speech.

He noted that Tajikistan pays special attention to the development of free and independent media and that the country today has created all the conditions for the professional activities of journalists and the development of freedom of speech and the media. The participants were presented the actions of the Government of Tajikistan creating favorable conditions for strengthening the place and role of the media in the system of civil society institutions, as well as the formation of information and legal regulation mechanisms.
