Speech of the Tajik delegation at a working meeting on freedom of assembly and association at the OSCE Meeting

On September 19, 2019 in Warsaw, at the working meeting of the OSCE Meeting on the Review of Implementation of Human Dimension Commitments on Fundamental Freedoms, including freedom of assembly and association, the Head of the Tajik delegation, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan on Legal Issues, Zarif Alizoda made a speech.

He touched upon the current practice in Tajikistan of granting the right to peaceful assembly and freedom of association. The efforts of the country to strictly observe international human rights instruments were noted. Zarif Alizoda also presented irrefutable facts of the Islamic Renaissance Party's connections to terrorist and extremist organizations.
