Political consultations between Tajikistan and Austria

On September 23, 2019 regular political consultations were held between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Austria under the leadership of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Muzaffar Huseinzoda and Head of Department for Eastern Europe, South Caucasus, Central Asia, EU Eastern Neighborhood Policy, Eastern Partnership of the Austrian Federal Ministry for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs Ms. Katharina Wieser.

During the meeting the parties have discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation in political, economic, cultural, educational and security spheres. The two sides have expressed interest in further strengthening of friendly relations between the countries.

The meeting resulted in a constructive dialogue on regional and international issues, of mutual interests.
