On September 25, 2019, in Warsaw, at the working session of the OSCE Meeting on the Implementation of Human Dimension Commitments on Hate Crimes, Deputy Director of the Center for Islamic Studies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Rustam Azizi made a speech.
He noted that the Republic of Tajikistan supports all international and regional initiatives to combat hate crimes.
At the same time, Rustam Azizi cited examples of how the official publishing house of the Islamic Renaissance Party over the years of its functioning in Tajikistan has published dozens of books and other materials promoting religious intolerance and violence.
He called on the OSCE / ODIHR, as well as all other interested parties, to pay attention to these facts and limit their presence at official events and venues for organizations whose ideology is based on the principles of religious intolerance and the promotion of violence.
