Consular consultations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the People’s Republic of China

On December 5, 2019, in Beijing consultations on consular issues between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China took place.

The delegation of the Tajik side was led by the Head of the Main Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mr.Bahodur Safarzoda and the delegation of the Chinese side was headed by the General Director of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China Mr.Cui Aimin.

During the consultations, the sides discussed the current state of bilateral relations on consular issues, agreed on the necessity for further developing and strengthening cooperation between the two states in this direction. Also, particular attention has been paid on citizens’ traveling, protection of the rights and property of citizens, visa issues and other issues of bilateral cooperation.
