Meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs with the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar

On February 29, 2020, in Doha during the working visit to the State of Qatar, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirodjiddin Muhriddin met with the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani.

The sides discussed issues related to current state and prospects for development of cooperation between Tajikistan and Qatar in political, economic, investment and other areas of mutual interest.

The parties noted importance of further contacts and coordination between the  Ministries of Foreign Affairs  of the two countries on the implementation of the agreements achieved between the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, H.E Mr. Emomali Rahmon and the Emir of the State of Qatar, H.H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

During the meeting the sides also exchanged views on international and regional issues.
