Celebration of the 30th anniversary of Independence of Tajikistan in Kiev

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, an official reception with the participation of representatives of ministries and departments, universities, business circles, scientists and cultural figures, the media, leaders of religious communities of the host country, diplomatic missions, as well as compatriots living in Ukraine was held in Kiev on 17 September 2021.  

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to Ukraine Davlatali Nazrizoda spoke about the significant achievements of Tajikistan over the years of independence, including the scale of political, social and economic reforms in the country, foreign policy and strategic goals in his speech. While speaking about the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Ukraine, the Ambassador noted that our side is interested on its expansion and enhancement of the legal framework, creation of joint ventures, attraction of investments and tourism development.

Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmitry Senik congratulated the people of Tajikistan on the 30th  anniversary of State Independence, noting that Tajikistan is an important economic partner of Ukraine in the Central Asian region, Ukraine is interested in the development of bilateral relations in various spheres, particularly   trade, economy, energy, transport, agriculture, education, healthcare and investment.

Videos and photographs about the development of Tajikistan and reflecting the historical heritage and unique nature of the country displayed in the cultural part of the event. It was also performed Tajik and Ukrainian songs and guests enjoyed national cuisines. A group of activists of the Tajik diaspora residing in Ukraine has been awarded gratitude letters by the Embassy.
