Meeting with Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Tajikistan

On February 23, 2022, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sharaf Sheralizoda met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Saudi Arabia to Tajikistan Walid Abdulrahman al-Reshaidan. During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on issues of bilateral cooperation in the political, economic, cultural, educational and tourism fields, emphasizing the need to expand joint cooperation and increase trade turnover and investment.

The sides also discussed the preparatory process of the forthcoming session of the Tajik-Saudi Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Trade, Investment, Technical and Cultural Cooperation, to be held in Dushanbe this year.
