Meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia

On 22 March 2022, on the margins of the 48th Session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Council of Foreign Ministers in Islamabad, there was held a meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud. 

The parties discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral relations and ways of developing political, trade, economic, scientific and cultural cooperation. Ministers exchanged views on the current security situation in the region and the establishment of mutually beneficial cooperation in combating modern threats and challenges.
The two sides also discussed other issues related to the expansion of bilateral relations between Tajikistan and Saudi Arabia within the framework of international and regional organizations.
